Temple of the King - part 1
In the book of Psalms, God spoke a word through a psalmist regarding a great mystery, a secret, and a plan to reveal a habitation, a place where God would live and direct an eternal plan. Paul wrote that God's desire is to see us come to a full understanding and deep, infinite knowledge of His plan and purpose. Zion is a type and shadow of Christ's body. God was conveying through the living Word a prophetic proclamation that a day was coming when he would build a habitation, a temple called the body of Christ! Jesus the Man died and arose from the dead, and now He sits at the right hand of the All-Mighty King of Kings.
If you are a believer in the cross of Calvary, then you are part of this great and marvelous habitation. Examine the prophetic words written in the book of Psalms concerning our place in this abode. And more and more, you will begin to see the enormous benefits of being a part. The word rich means wealthy; all in all, Jesus became poor, meaning he left the place of glory to come to earth as humanity. God desires for His family within the temple, to be totally dependent on him, always looking to him as their source and creator of supply.
