Under our Feet - the Devil - part 1

Christianity teaches us that there is a devil, an adversary, and a ruler of darkness, whose name is also Satan. The word says, *Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy,” but "I, God, have come to give life and to give it abundantly.” Many sincere believers accept Satan's attacks as God's way of disciplining or training. Believers are suffering from battle fatigue; rather than a strong garrison of soldiers guarding and taking what they have through the cross, they appear to be spending more time in the infirmary healing their wounds. Many ministers called to heal the church are themselves more crippled and wounded than the church.

Believers need to find out what resources are at their disposal to limit the Devil, Lucifer, or Satan and his cohorts from advancing. Some have the attitude that they are immune to Satan's advances. This is a fatal mindset that puts the believer in the same position as an unbeliever. Believers need to know and believe the truth that Jesus has overcome darkness through his death on the cross. As a believer, we are no longer under his jurisdiction, condemnation, or guilt.

But this does not mean he will give up trying to deceive us into understanding or knowing our victory. Each time a person is enlightened to the finished work, they are rescued or snatched from the captivity of the darkness of this world. During the regeneration process, the believer is instantly made complete in Him, with all benefits, position, and stature, and seated alongside Him at the right hand of God. God's Spirit is flowing in the latter rain, and the revival fires are being lit with vengeance. Revelation, or the supernaturally communicated truth of God's Word, is being proclaimed through every medium of communication. Through more revelation, believers are becoming less fearful, no longer chasing demons around every corner.
